Dr.K.Jayakumar, IAS

  • Former Chief Secretary to Governor Govt of Sikkim and Head- Dept of Science and Technology.
  • A mechanical engineer from P.S.G.College of Technology, Management Post Graduate from IIM Bangalore and Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur, Dr.Jayakumar joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1987.
  • He held various positions including, District Magistrate, Deputy Secretary in Health and Family Welfare,  Director Technical Education in the Govt. of Sikkim, Principal Secretary in the Departments of Labour, Social Justice Empowerment & Welfare, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship & Science and Technology. He has served as he served as the Vice Chancellor of Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok.
  • During his tenure in Govt. of India he served as Director IT in the Department of Administrative Reforms and as Joint Secretary  in the Ministry of Science and Technology, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Govt. of India .
  • Among various project initiatives implemented by him is the  CSIR Transformation and ICT Interventions Project under which an “ERP Bespoke application” has been developed and implemented across the 37 National Laboratories of CSIR.  The project has bagged the CSI-Nihilent Special Recognition Award under Research Category in 2010.
  • He was instrumental in implementing two major portals. India Enterprise Portal  to serve as a cyber eco-system to engage, reach-out empower and facilitate the growth of entrepreneurs/enterprises and Indiatechpedia for popularization of science among students, youth, women and communities which has won the Skotch Smart Governance Platinum Award for the year 2017.
  • He has written a book on “Dynamics of Organisational Behavior and Executing Change” which has been published by CSIR in 2011. An expert in diverse aspects of Techno Managerial and Administrative areas, he has several publications to his credit.

Nagendran Ramamurthy

  • A veteran banker with thirty years of domain experience in India and abroad. He is well versed in all aspects of corporate banking and finance and has broad exposure to a wide range of industries.
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Madras University and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from The National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai.
  • He was hired from campus by Citibank in 1985 as a Management Associate. Over a career spanning more than twenty five years with Citibank, he gained wide experience in all aspects of corporate banking including areas such as credit risk, marketing and sales, product management, customer service, operations & technology and treasury.
  • He was in India for ten years before transferring to Singapore and Malaysia in roles that covered the full Asia Pacific region. He was designated as a Managing Director in 2004.
  • Nagendran also worked with ANZ Group in Singapore and was responsible for the bank’s Asia, Pacific, Europe and North America region for his division. Later, he relocated to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where he headed the Global Transaction Services division for Hong Leong Bank.
  • Presently, he is the founder and managing director of JPACT Services Sdn Bhd, a consulting firm based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia that provides a wide range of financial services to banks and individuals.
  • He brings wide knowledge in different areas and hands-on exposure to global best practices. Apart from his professional experience, he has a deep passion for the environment and climate change, an area that he has been closely following for over ten years.
